Ce titre évoque la légende de la femelle noire du Berry, qui se racontait déjà sous le règne de Louis XIII, dans la région de Romorantin.

La "femelle noire" était le nom donné à la vielle, une femme sans age, ridée comme de la terre sèche, maigre comme un fiévreux, bizarre et mal famée.

Sorcière avérée, on la fuyait comme la peste. Il se disait par les paysans, en assurant qu'il s'agissait de la vérité, qu'elle pouvait se changer en animal féroce pour tuer les promeneurs nocturnes et même qu'elle pouvait voler.

This track evokes the legend of the black female of Berry, which was already being told during the reign of Louis XIII, in the Romorantin region.

The "black female" was the name given to the old woman, a woman of no age, wrinkled like dry earth, as thin as a fever patient, bizarre and ill-famed.

A known witch, she was shunned like the plague. It was said by the local peasants, assuring them that it was the truth, that she could change into a ferocious animal to kill night-walkers and even that she could fly.
